- 7:00 am Mother Baby Unit Department highlights: Texas Health Alliance is a Baby-friendly and Texas 10-step designated facility.
ICU 4 OB/ED
bays 14-bed LDR's 2 OR suites Here's What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred RN- Registered Nurse Upon Hire required BCLS
- Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required NRP
- Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 90 Days of hire CPI
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually within 90 Days of hire 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req Mother Baby experience strongly preferred What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
