Summary:
The Registered Nurse will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. Nursing care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment. The Registered Nurse will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. Winter Plan 2026-2027

Rate:
$51.50/hrplus shift diffs Completion Bonus at the end of the assignment if all hours/requirements have been met.
Shift:
M-F 8:30 am
  • 5:00 pm
Requirements:
24 hours per week (4) day
Hire/Patient Care Orientation Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. 2 years RN experienceor successful completion of a Cook Children's Winter Plan contract required.
Certification/Licensure:
Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas required. Current BLS required PALS or NRP strongly encouraged and if presented upon hire, must maintain certification without lapsing. Certification as necessary in certain areas in the Medical Center.
