Local Team Collaboration:
Join our supportive team of nine physicians and eight advanced practice providers (APPs) at AdventHealth Central Texas. Work alongside a community-oriented team known for a solid work ethic, passion for community, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
Qualifications:
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. 1-2 years of emergency medicine experience. Emergency Medicine Fellowship a plus.
Scheduling:
Our flexible scheduling includes four types of physician shifts-Day, AM Swing, PM Swing, and Night-designed to accommodate various work-life balance needs. You'll have the opportunity to commit to working 3 shifts in a row, providing more consistency and a better work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
We are adding coverage to increase our efficiency to our patient care. Deliver high-quality care in a 30-bed emergency department with over 50,000 annual visits, addressing various cases in a Level 4 trauma setting. Partner with a robust team of subspecialty professionals and utilize advanced imaging services to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care. Living and Working in Killeen, TX Killeen, TX offers an affordable cost of living with a range of housing options, local parks, and everyday amenities that support a comfortable lifestyle. The city is about 70-80 miles north of Austin, making it convenient for day trips to enjoy big-city dining, entertainment, and job opportunities while living in a quieter, more budget-friendly area. Quality of life can vary by neighborhood, but many residents appreciate the balance of space, affordability, and access to Central Texas attractions.
