Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Nursing Homes, and Medical-Surgical units. This role requires a thorough understanding of nursing standards and practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards. Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions based on patient needs. Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition or emergencies. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks and ensure compliance with documentation standards. Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and post-operative care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control practices, including sterile processing.

• Education:

  Must hold a valid RN license in Texas and have completed an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).

• Experience:

  Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is often preferred.

• Skills:

  Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is typically required; additional certifications in geriatric care may be beneficial.
