Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care in both the Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical inpatient settings. This role requires a strong clinical skill set, the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, and a genuine passion for patient care. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a 2 year commitment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical and Swing Bed units.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in their condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Lead and collaborate with the healthcare team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department and/or Medical/Surgical nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required, with TNCC and/or ATCN to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly adjust from a slow to fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and think critically.
