Job Description
Shift:
7:00 AM - 7:00PM Experience:
- 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
- 10 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
- Experience with Epic is required.
- Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.Required Skills/Experience:

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.Special Requests:

Adult and geriatric patient population. Opening a new acute care surgery, trauma, emergency general surgery unit caring for acute care surgery, emergency general surgery, and MedSurg overflow patients. Exact details may vary.Shift & Scheduling:
No call required.Weekends required:
6 shifts in a 6-week period.Flexible contract hours:
