Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Stepdown unit Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition Administer medications, IV therapies, and other treatments as prescribed Document patient assessments, care interventions, and outcomes accurately Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and families to provide education and updates on care plans Manage and prioritize multiple cases while delivering high-quality, compassionate care Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to coordinate and optimize patient care transitions

Desired Qualifications:

Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous experience in Stepdown, Intermediate Care, or Progressive Care environments preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-acuity setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal abilities
