PRN Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home health team. This is a PRN , offering flexibility and rewarding one-on-one patient care. While prior home health experience is preferred, we are open to training motivated nurses who are new to this setting.
Responsibilities:
Deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes according to physician orders. Supervise and collaborate with LVNs, and other care staff. Conduct and complete all required OASIS documentation, including admissions, recertifications, resumptions of care, and discharges. Exercise sound clinical judgment and independent decision-making. Accurately complete electronic documentation.
Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Texas. Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Minimum of one (1) year of home health experience preferred, but not required and/or Minimum of one (1) year of acute short-term hospital experience preferred, but not required. Current CPR certification. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance. Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
