Responsibilities include:
Delivering nursing care based on the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Addressing psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families. Administering medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. Documenting patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided. Assessing learning needs and educating patients, families, and caregivers. Delegating tasks appropriately to care providers.
Qualifications and skills:
Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing. At least 1 year of related nursing experience preferred. Active RN license in the state of employment or a compact license. Current BLS certification. The position offers flexible scheduling with various shift tiers and differential pay for nights and weekends, with a focus on leadership, clinical competence, and patient-centered care.
