This energetic position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, utilize advanced clinical skills, and contribute to positive maternal and neonatal outcomes. You will deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, education, and support throughout the perinatal journey. Your expertise will help foster healthier pregnancies and successful transitions into parenthood. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of pregnant patients, including fetal monitoring, and physical examinations. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals With supervision by the maternal-fetal medicine specialist. Manage antepartum and intrapartum care, including labor support and delivery assistance. Provide patient education on prenatal health, childbirth and breastfeeding. Perform procedures including and basic ultrasound assessments using sonography equipment. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Experience Proven experience as a Nurse Practitioner with a focus on perinatal or obstetric care in hospital or clinic settings. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for medical documentation and patient management. Knowledge of obstetric physiology, fetal monitoring techniques and familiarity with
ACOG AND SMFM
guidelines Experience working with diverse populations including high-risk pregnancies, and individuals with complex medical needs. Familiarity with clinical practices related to maternal-fetal medicine is a pplus.
