Job Description
Job Description Our healthcare client is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join its outpatient infusion team. This role is responsible for safely administering infusion therapies while delivering exceptional, patient-centered care to oncology patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer IV infusions including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologics, hydration, and supportive medications per physician orders and established protocols
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after infusion treatments, monitoring for adverse reactions and responding appropriately
- Establish and maintain venous access, including peripheral IV insertions and care of central lines/ports
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, potential side effects, and post-infusion care
- Accurately document all nursing care, medications, and patient responses in the EMR in real time
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and clinic staff to coordinate safe and effective care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant infusion area following safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact license)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in an infusion, oncology, outpatient clinic, or similar clinical setting
- Strong IV therapy skills and comfort with venipuncture and vascular access
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
- Oncology or infusion experience in an outpatient setting (chemo experience strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with oncology-specific workflows, protocols, and patient populations
- Experience working in a collaborative, high-volume clinic environment
