Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an Home Infusion Nurse. As an Home Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to patients receiving infusion therapy in the home setting. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure the safe and effective administration of medications and treatments.Locations:
Princeton, McKinney, TX Responsibilities:
- Administer infusion therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician orders
- Monitor patients during infusion therapy to ensure safety and comfort
- Assess patient's condition and response to treatment, making adjustments as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication administration and treatment progress
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during their infusion therapy sessions
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation practices
- Expertise in infectious disease care and prevention measures
- Competence in laboratory procedures and specimen collection processing
Qualifications:
