LVN II Texana Center - 3.4 Rosenberg, TX Job Details Full-time $27.56 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Interdisciplinary behavioral health coordination First aid and CPR Full Job Description LVN II Role Responsibilities The nurse in this full time position is supervised and reports to the Clinic Manager. Clinical nursing tasks are supervised by the clinic physicians. The nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care and services to individuals in Behavioral Healthcare outpatient clinics utilizing the nursing process. The nurse is also responsible and accountable for the adherence to and promotion of the compliance policy as required. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team within a multi-faceted mental health care delivery system. This position is 5 days per week Mon-Fri. Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with flexibility to meet program needs as requested by the Clinic Manager. Some travel may be required. Salary $27.56/hour Required Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills Graduate of accredited School of Vocational Nursing Licensed in the State of Texas or temporary license and must obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire and present documentation of application process to the State Nursing board for Texas. Compact license acceptable according to current Board of Nursing requirements. Texas driver's license in good standing as defined by Texana Center's procedure Preferred Education and/or Certifications, Experience, Skills Current SAMA certification Current CPR certification Minimum of one year nursing experience and some experience in mental health field Experience in phlebotomy/EKG procedures Basic computer skills Spanish speaking Job Related Physical Requirements Must be able to perform SAMA and CPR. Must be able to perform moderate lifting and carrying (15-44#), pushing, stooping, repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, sitting and twisting. Must have ability to see, write, operate office equipment, operate a motor vehicle and have depth perception.
