We are now hiring a Registered Nurse for our new Austin Resort. Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE
Provides high-quality nursing care and health guidance to guests by assessing needs, and identifying risks. Reviews and evaluates health questionnaires, conducts pre-arrival consultations, and delivers health education, counseling, referrals, and wrap-up sessions. Collaborates with physicians and health and healing practitioners to implement prescribed treatment plans for guests on-site and post-stay. Performs and supports medical tests, procedures, screenings, and medication administration in accordance with scope of practice and Canyon Ranch policies. Responds to emergent and non-emergent situations, follows standard operating procedures, and maintains daily emergency equipment checks. Completes required documentation, maintains medical records and databases, coordinates follow-up care, and ensures continuity of care across departments. Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Registered Nurse (RN) credential from an accredited School of Nursing. Current, active state Nursing License and CPR certification for healthcare providers. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical office setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong teamwork, multitasking, independent decision-making skills, with flexibility and adaptability to change
