6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Position Summary The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The RN collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver care using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid decision-making, and the ability to manage diverse patient populations. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for patients presenting to the Emergency Department Triage patients based on severity of condition using established protocols Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and emergency interventions Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes in status Provide patient and family education regarding conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records in accordance with facility standards Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines Support a patient-focused environment that promotes safety, dignity, and respect Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact license) Minimum 1-2 years of Emergency Department experience Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification (preferred or required per facility) Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Prior travel nursing experience Work Environment Fast-paced Emergency Department setting Exposure to high-acuity patients and emergency situations Requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekends, nights, and holidays For more details reach at or Call / Text at 516-862-1203 .
