1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience. Details Medical Surgical unit setting Night shift schedule, 3x12 or 4x12 hours from 19:00-7:00 Scheduled for 84 hours biweekly with a 72 hour guarantee Must be willing to float between Med/Surg units Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic charting experience strongly preferred NIHSS certification and Nursys verification required for consideration License must be in hand prior to start Additional Information Candidates must complete required lab work within 72 hours of accepting an offer or have a completion plan in place Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen, including marijuana testing, with a positive result resulting in automatic cancellation Candidates should avoid any products, including CBD, that could result in a positive drug screen Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates are not accepted for this position All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to accepting an offer Orientation includes required training modules, averaging 2-3 hours, completed via Oracle
