  • Free-standing Facility, TH Willow Park Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are better + together Work location: Texas Health Willow Park, 101 Crown Point Blvd, Willow Park, TX 76087 Work hours : Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm
  • 7:00 am Department Highlights 10-bed emergency department Located about 20 miles west of downtown Ft.
Worth Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week Full-service ED with highly qualified nursing staff Providing care for a wide variety of patients from neonate, pediatric and seniors covering an array of illnesses and injuries Enjoy self-scheduling to help with work/life balance. "When seconds count, you can count on Texas Health Willow Park" Here's what you need Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency BCLS
  • prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required ACLS
  • within 90 days of hire required PALS
  • within 90 days of hire required NIHSS
  • within 90 days of hire required TNCC or ATCN
  • within 12 months of hire required ENPC
  • within 12 months of hire required CPI
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training
  • within 90 days of hire 1-year registered nursing experience or completion of an RN residency program required Current
ED, ICU/PCU
experience strongly preferred In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism have basic computer skills using medical management application systems What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • assesses the patient
  • plans the care of the patient
  • intervenes as appropriate
  • evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
