You will support the nurse and doctor through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Responsibilities Organize and schedule appointments Populate and update patient charts and forms Scan and import patient records Follow-up calls for patient testing and referrals Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Take medical stock inventory and communicate supply shortages Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments Clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure a positive patient flow, waiting room, and exam room experience Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary. Take messages from patients with clinical questions and return messages, under the supervision of the physician May take photographs according to protocol Assist surgeon in preparing for examinations and minor procedures Attend all regular staff meetings Perform all other tasks and projects assigned by the surgeon

BLS Certification (Preferred) RN (Required)
Skills:
Motivated self-starter Punctual Organized Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
