Utah Home Health and Hospice is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our growing team in Orem, Utah. We are committed to providing cost-efficient, high-quality home health and hospice services to the patients entrusted to our care.

This is an in-office leadership position in Orem, working closely with our clinical and administrative teams.

Position:

Director of Nursing (DON) As the Director of Nursing, you will provide overall clinical leadership for our home health and hospice services. You will work closely with our nurses, aides, therapists, physicians, patients, and families to ensure that care is safe, compassionate, compliant, and of the highest quality. Responsibilities Provide leadership, supervision, and direction to the clinical team Oversee the delivery of quality home health and hospice patient care Monitor patient care, clinical outcomes, and overall quality of services Develop, implement, and oversee plans of treatment Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies Supervise and support nursing staff and other clinical personnel Assist with hiring, orientation, training, and ongoing education of clinical staff Promote strong communication and teamwork between field staff and the office Review clinical documentation and ensure timely completion and accuracy Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities Assist with surveys, audits, and regulatory compliance Provide clinical guidance and support to staff when complex patient-care situations arise Perform patient assessments and direct patient care when appropriate Work collaboratively with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team Help develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, referral sources, and community partners Participate in community outreach, networking, and marketing activities Help identify opportunities to improve patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency Foster a positive culture where staff feel supported, valued, and empowered to provide excellent patient care What We Offer We believe that great patient care starts with taking care of the people who provide it. Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Utah Minimum of 3-5 years of home health and/or hospice experience Previous nursing leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred Strong understanding of home health and/or hospice regulations and clinical standards BSN (preferred) Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to effectively supervise, coach, and develop clinical staff Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence Current Utah driver's license and automobile liability insurance Current CPR certification Experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) is a strong plus Marketing, referral development, or community outreach experience is a plus Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for a DON who is a strong clinical leader, a team player, and someone who genuinely cares about both patients and staff. Up to $130,000.00 per year
