Brigham City Community Hospital seeks a compassionate RN for Women's Services on our night shift team. In this role, you'll provide safe, family-centered care for women through labor, postpartum, and gynecologic needs in our 49-bed community hospital. Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, medication administration, fetal and maternal monitoring, and patient education while collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary staff. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive night-shift nursing care to women's services patients, including labor, postpartum, and gynecologic care Perform ongoing maternal and fetal assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and document in the EHRAdminister medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely, following hospital and regulatory standards Monitor for and respond to obstetric and medical emergencies, escalating to physicians and rapid response teams as needed Educate patients and families on care plans, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge instructions Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, and ancillary staff to coordinate patient-centered care Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention, safety, and quality protocols Support a compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive environment for patients and families Participate in unit-based quality improvement, training, and professional development Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented night shift culture aligned with the hospital's mission and values Required Skills Inpatient women's health nursing Labor, delivery, and postpartum care Maternal and fetal assessment Medication administration and IV therapy Electronic fetal monitoring Emergency response and stabilization Patient and family education Electronic health record documentation Infection prevention and safety protocols Interdisciplinary team collaboration
