Job Description

Job Overview Community of Grace Presbyterian Church is seeking reliable, energetic, caring folks, to work with our Childcare program on Sunday mornings and for occasional other events. This is a very part time gig, 1.5-3 hours/week, starting at $17.50/hour. Must be at least 18 years of age, with childcare experience. Childcare Staff might work in the Nursery for ages 0-5, which entails playing safely and caring for our youngest friends; or they may work in our Children's Church, for ages 5-10, which includes preparing and teaching religious material, arts & crafts, stories, and games. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery/ Childcare Staff to join our vibrant team. In this vital role, you will provide nurturing care and support to young children, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster positive growth experiences for every child in your care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children while working within a dynamic, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Assist with daily childcare routines,including, diapering, and supervising play Engage children in educational and recreational activities that promote development and social skills Ensure a safe environment by monitoring children at all times and following health regulations Collaborate with colleagues to document developmental milestones and communicate with parents or guardians as needed Experience Previous work in a childcare or educational environment demonstrating patience and strong communication skills is advantageous
