Responsibilities Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to medical-surgical and specialty patients across the hospital Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the care team Administer medications, treatments, and therapies while monitoring patient responses and documenting accurately Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure seamless, patient-centered care Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, discharge instructions, and health maintenance Support emergency and critical situations by following clinical protocols and rapid response procedures Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Use advanced medical technology and electronic health records for documentation and communication Precept and mentor new nurses and students, contributing to a culture of continuous learning Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes and patient experience Required Skills Acute care nursing Patient assessment and triage IV therapy and medication administration Cardiac and telemetry monitoring Wound care and post-surgical management Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Care planning and care coordination Patient and family education Infection prevention and control Emergency response and rapid assessment
