Ogden Regional Medical Center is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for our Acute Rehab unit. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered rehab nursing care, including assessments, care planning, medication administration, and coordination of complex discharge plans. You'll collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team to help patients regain function after illness, injury, or surgery. RNs support patient and family education, uphold safety and quality standards, document in the EMR, and contribute to continuous improvement in a compassionate, team-oriented environment focused on growth and learning. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized rehab care plans Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately Monitor patient status, document in EMR, and report changes promptly Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers on rehab goals and discharge plans Educate patients and families on recovery, self-care, and safety at home Maintain infection control, fall prevention, and patient safety protocols Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences Support orientation and mentoring of new staff or students as assigned Respond to emergencies, perform basic life support, and follow hospital policies Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Required Skills Acute rehabilitation nursing Patient assessment and care planning Medication administration Electronic Medical Records (EMR) documentation Wound care and skin integrity management IV therapy and venipuncture Interdisciplinary care coordination Patient and family education Fall prevention and safety protocols Basic Life Support (BLS)
