Shift:
Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirement:
Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours/week Roles & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and mother-baby patients . Perform thorough maternal and fetal assessments and monitor patients throughout labor and delivery. Interpret fetal monitoring strips and document according to AWHONN standards . Safely administer and titrate Oxytocin and Insulin drips according to facility protocols. Provide care for patients undergoing C-sections , including circulating and post-operative recovery support. Provide postpartum and couplet care while supporting newborn transitions. Manage triage patients and respond appropriately to changes in maternal and fetal condition. Collaborate with OB providers, neonatologists, anesthesia, respiratory therapy, OB techs, and other interdisciplinary team members. Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EMR . Prioritize patient safety and provide compassionate, evidence-based care throughout the obstetric continuum. Qualifications Active RN license required. Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred. At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery specialty experience within the last 3 years required. One year of travel nursing experience highly preferred . Strong Labor & Delivery, postpartum, mother-baby, and fetal monitoring experience. Experience with Oxytocin and Insulin drips . Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips independently. Comfortable with triage and C-section circulation/recovery. Transition skills are preferred but not required . BSN not required . Driver's license must be submitted with the profile. Required Certifications
BLS - AHA ACLS AWHONN
