1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring AHA BLS certification and night shift availability with rotating weekends and holidays. Details Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:7 Night shift schedule (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 3x12-hour shifts) 36 hours per week Rotating weekends and holidays required No on-call responsibilities Floating required 13-week contract Requirements Active VA or Compact RN license required at time of consideration AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued certificates only) Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area — local candidates are not accepted Additional Information Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs) Travel RNs are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities Skills checklist and license verification required for consideration
