Part-time Registered Nurse Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-time Registered Nurse to join our pro-choice reproductive healthcare team. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient recovery and well-being through skilled assessment and treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care settings and medical-surgical nursing, demonstrating strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety. This position offers flexibility with part-time hours while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional nursing services. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate care plans Monitor patient conditions regularly, noting changes and responding promptly to ensure safety and comfort Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments accurately in medical records Assist with patient education, providing information on health management, medication usage, and post-discharge care Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and hospital policies Support acute care procedures and respond effectively to emergencies or urgent situations Provide compassionate support to patients and their families throughout the care process Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant jurisdiction Prior experience in acute care settings is required Strong background in medical-surgical nursing Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments and deliver appropriate interventions Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations professionally Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and confidentiality Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential evenings or weekends as needed Join our team to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert nursing care.
