Qualifications:

Active RN license—valid for Virginia or compact states Minimum one year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

BLS, ACLS, PALS

certifications (current and valid) Strong clinical assessment, triage, and crisis intervention skills Excellent critical thinking and ability to remain calm under pressure Ready adaptability and enthusiasm for diverse teams and protocols

Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care for a broad range of medical and trauma cases Rapidly assess, prioritize, and implement care plans in fast-paced settings Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and specialists across disciplines Accurately document patient histories, interventions, and outcomes Maintain patient safety, advocacy, and education for patients and families Respond appropriately in critical and emergent situations
