Qualifications/Experience:
Active RN license (compact state license accepted) Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit Ability to adapt and thrive in fast-paced surgical environments
Responsibilities:
Circulate and scrub on cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases Coordinate pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety protocols Deliver compassionate support and clear communication to patients and their families
