1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Neuro Operating Room position requiring at least 2 years of Level 1 Trauma OR experience, prior travel experience, and strong neuro/ortho spine and craniotomy skills. Details Hospital-based Operating Room setting with 25 rooms and approximately 45-60 cases per day Neuro OR team with cases including simple 1-level to complex 10+ level spine surgeries, spine tumors, neuro trauma, craniotomies, and DBS procedures Day shift with 8- and 12-hour shifts and on-call requirements (D8D12 with call) Weekday call consists of 2 eight-hour shifts per schedule (2330-0700); weekend call consists of 3 twelve-hour shifts per schedule (0700-1930 or 1900-0730) 40 hours per week Floating to other service lines within the main OR is required as needed

EMR:

Epic (OpTime module) 13-week contract Requirements Active VA or Compact RN license required BLS certification (AHA) required Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting required Prior travel nursing experience required Strong experience with neuro/ortho spine and craniotomy procedures required Must be able to respond on-site within 45 minutes when on call Additional Information Scrubs are provided by the facility Candidates must be available for both weekday and weekend on-call shifts as scheduled
