Required Qualifications & Experience:
Current, active RN license (valid in VA or compact state). Minimum of 2 years' recent RN experience in a CVOR setting. BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred). Proficiency with advanced CVOR technology and procedures. Strong critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery. Scrub and circulate during complex CVOR cases, following the latest safety protocols. Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the entire operative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor and document patient status throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Uphold stringent infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies.
