Role:
Rita Assisted Living in Highland Springs, VA is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Nursing professional to join our caring team. Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care and monitor residents' health conditions on a daily basis Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Assess and document changes in residents' physical and mental health status Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care team members to develop and implement care plans Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and medical concerns Educate residents and their families on health conditions, medications, and care procedures Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations
Requirements:
Valid RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia Prior experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric nursing preferred Strong knowledge of medication administration and infection control protocols Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
