Job Summary Greensville Correctional Center is the largest facility in the state, housing male offenders of all ages. It boasts a fully functional medical unit, and is currently looking to hire LPNs, RNs, and RN Supervisors. Daily responsibilities include - Screening health complaints, taking vital signs, administering medications, performing sick call, developing treatment plans, and completing tele‑health appointments. Minimum Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program Possess/Maintain a valid, unrestricted nursing license that is valid is the state of Virginia Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Make a Real Impact The Virginia Department of Corrections is the largest state agency, with over 11,000 employees dedicated to helping people build better futures.
