Heritage Hall has an immediate career opportunity for an RN. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced professional to make a positive difference in the geriatric population. The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering day-to-day care to residents. They supervise the LPNs, CNAs and other nursing staff on duty with them as well as participate in the direct care of the residents. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services to ensure the highest degree of quality care is always maintained. They are also responsible for administering medications and treatments as ordered by the physician. RN dayshift/night shift
Qualifications:
Must have ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college Must have an active RN license in the state of Virginia Experience in long-term care preferred Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures Knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing in a long-term care facility Ability to make independent decisions
