Required Certifications and Licensures:

Current licensure by the Virginia State Board of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority. Maintains BLS and ACLS Certifications. Hold a current, active license as a registered nurse in Virginia or hold a current multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse. You Can Expect 4 10-hour shifts per week 1:1 APP-to-MD/DO support 50/50 split Inpatient and Outpatient responsibilities including: Daily rounding, Cardiology consults, Discharges, Clinic Days 1-2 major holiday call shifts per year 3-5 weekend call shifts per year Extensive onboarding and orientation designed to support your success Ongoing professional development through: Continuing education opportunities Grand rounds System-wide CME opportunities Concurrent didactic cardiology curriculum designed to enhance your knowledge, clinical expertise, and competency in the evaluation and management of cardiovascular disease Our goal is to provide you with the resources, education, and mentorship needed to practice at the top of your license while continuing to grow your cardiology expertise.
