Shift:

7:00 PM - 7:30

AM Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

Program:

Unit Details:

Charge responsibility may be required. General medicine Med-Surg/Tele patient population includes GI bleeds, COPD, CHF, diabetes complications, ESRD, dementia, TIA/stroke, A-fib, hypertension, sepsis, and vascular issues. Ancillary support includes phlebotomy, EKG techs, CNAs, central materials for pumps/equipment, and a floor supply room for most supplies. Teaching hospital; travelers will work with students and new hires often.

Shift & Scheduling:

Must work at least one major holiday: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year's Day.

Floating Requirements:

Travelers float first and may be asked to float to sister campus VBH.
