Performs cardiac tests and assessments, educates patients and families about cardiac disease and preventative health care, and cares for patients after heart surgery. Works with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment. Trained to provide emergency medical care to cardiac patients. Works under the supervision of a physician. Works in hospital cardiology or intensive care units or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

$101.85•$110.25 This facility is seeking Nurse Practitioner Cardiology for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule:

9/8/2026•weekly (Monday-Friday)•7:30a-4:30p

Practice Setting:

Inpatient Types of Cases:

willing to work independently along side an Interventional Cardiologist for inpatient care to manage new patients, follow up visits, rounding, documentation, discharge planning, and coordination of care.

Credentialing Timeframe:

As soon as possible•Emergency credentials available Electronic Medical Record (EMR):

Epic Certifications Required:

Board Certification, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Licensure Required:
