This temporary assignment is ideal for Registered Nurses seeking to apply their clinical expertise within an educational setting and foster the well-being of students from February through May. As the dedicated school nurse for a student population of approximately 363, youll collaborate with faculty and families to provide exceptional health care and support. This contract opportunity offers consistent hours from 7:30am to 3:00pm, giving you ample time to balance professional and personal responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:

Current and valid RN license (active and in good standing) Previous experience in pediatric, school, or community nursing settings preferred Ability to assess, address, and document student health concerns and emergencies Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with students, staff, and parents Professionalism and discretion in managing confidential information

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver day-to-day care for students with acute illnesses, injuries, or chronic conditions Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Maintain up-to-date health records and ensure compliance with immunization requirements Conduct health screening activities and provide health education as needed Serve as a health resource and collaborator within the school community Enjoy working in a supportive environment where your clinical skills make a direct impact each day.
