Key Qualifications:

Active RN license (LPNs considered, RNs strongly preferred) Previous school nursing experience or strong pediatric nursing background Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to respond promptly and effectively in medical situations Compassion and patience when working with middle school students

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver daily health services to a student population of approximately 545 Triage and manage both routine and urgent medical needs Administer medications and coordinate physicians orders Support students with chronic health conditions and develop care plans Respond to injuries, illnesses, and emergencies within the school Maintain accurate health records in compliance with regulation Communicate clearly with students, staff, and parents regarding health issues Educate students on health, hygiene, and wellness practices

Role Details:

Full-time contract: 7.25 hours per day, Monday through Friday (36.25 hours/week) Assignment runs from 8/11/2026 to 9/21/2026 Caseload consists of middle schoolers, fostering lasting impact during pivotal student years This is a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in a dynamic school setting.
