Schedule/Hours:
12-hour day shifts Every other weekend rotation Major holiday coverage requiredQualifications:
Valid RN license, eligible under compact (required) Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience At least 1 year of travel nursing experience BLS certification required Must pass EKG exam at orientation (study materials provided) Med Surg/Telemetry experience required; CAPD and hemodialysis exposure preferredResponsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care and ongoing assessments for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a 30-bed mixed Med Surg/Tele unit Care for patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy, chest tubes, tube feeds (Kangaroo pumps), and phlebotomy Collaborate closely with physicians, CNAs, and supportive teams (you'll be backed by 1-2 CNAs per shift and sitter support) Float as needed to other MS/Tele units Serve as patient and family advocate, educate on care plans, and actively participate in department quality initiatives Utilize and document care in theEPIC EHR
