Schedule/Hours:

12-hour day shifts Every other weekend rotation Major holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

Valid RN license, eligible under compact (required) Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience At least 1 year of travel nursing experience BLS certification required Must pass EKG exam at orientation (study materials provided) Med Surg/Telemetry experience required; CAPD and hemodialysis exposure preferred

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care and ongoing assessments for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a 30-bed mixed Med Surg/Tele unit Care for patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy, chest tubes, tube feeds (Kangaroo pumps), and phlebotomy Collaborate closely with physicians, CNAs, and supportive teams (you'll be backed by 1-2 CNAs per shift and sitter support) Float as needed to other MS/Tele units Serve as patient and family advocate, educate on care plans, and actively participate in department quality initiatives Utilize and document care in the

EPIC EHR

system Support safe, evidence-based practices in a fast-paced environment
