Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - EP Job Type Contract Step into a critical role as a Registered Nurse specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) and the EP Lab, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with innovative technology while supporting advanced cardiac care.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures Monitor patient status throughout EP studies and interventions Administer medications, sedation, and emergency support as required Maintain a sterile field and ensure precise documentation during cases Function as a knowledgeable resource on EP equipment and protocols Deliver patient education before, during, and after procedures Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active RN license (state license or compact eligible) Minimum of one year of direct EP Lab nursing experience Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications Strong grasp of diagnostic/interventional cardiology procedures and protocols Detail-oriented with excellent critical thinking and communication abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-rich clinical setting
Schedule:
40 hours per week
