Orthopedics RN Job Summary:

As an Orthopedics RN, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. You will work closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assessing and monitoring patients' musculoskeletal health 2. Developing and implementing individualized care plans 3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed 4. Educating patients and their families about orthopedic conditions and interventions 5. Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams 6. Assisting with orthopedic surgeries and procedures 7. Monitoring post-operative recovery and rehabilitation 8. Providing emotional support and counseling to patients 9. Maintaining accurate medical records 10. Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Valid RN license 2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing 3. Certification in Orthopedic Nursing (preferred) 4. Clinical experience in orthopedic nursing 5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment 7. Attention to detail and critical thinking skills 8. Compassion and empathy for patients 9. Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams 10.
