Job Description

Incredible Health seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse to deliver rapid, high-quality care in a dynamic ED setting. You'll triage and stabilize diverse patient populations, administer medications and interventions, and closely monitor patient status using evidence-based protocols. Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes, ensure safe discharges, and support families in crisis. As part of a mission-driven, data-informed organization, you'll contribute to quality initiatives and process improvements that enhance nurse staffing, patient safety, and overall emergency care across health systems nationwide. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced EDPerform rapid triage, assessment, and stabilization of critically ill and injured patients Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders and ED protocols Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to interventions, escalating changes promptly Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHREducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Participate in ED quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and process optimization initiatives Required Skills Emergency patient assessment Triage (ESI or similar) IV insertion and medication administration Cardiac and respiratory monitoring Wound care and suturing assistance Defibrillation and code response support Electronic health record (EHR) documentation ED protocols and clinical pathways Infection control and isolation procedures Patient and family education in acute settings
