A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

What You'll Do Conduct nursing assessments and help develop individualized care plans. Provide skilled nursing services and monitor patient progress. Administer medications, treatments, and other physician-ordered interventions. Perform skilled nursing procedures, including wound care, catheter care, IV therapy, tracheostomy care, and medication management. Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Support quality care initiatives and ensure compliance with agency policies and state regulations. Respond to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate nursing interventions. We're Looking For Someone Who Has An active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current CPR/BLS certification. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills. A positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care. The ability to work independently while remaining part of a collaborative team.
