Job Description Overview $5,000.00 sign on retention bonus for full time and $2,500 for part time candidates!! The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide care established through evidence-based, hands on and critical thinking practices. We continuously evaluate safe practices to ensure the best nursing care for the populations served. We care for adults on the inpatient units who suffer from acute and/or chronic illnesses, and those recovering from general and orthopedic surgeries. Our team approach, positive culture and changing environment make it a great place to practice the art of nursing. You can expect to expand on nursing assessment, delegation, prioritization, critical thinking and time management skills. We have a team dedicated to process improvement, problem solving, and teambuilding, which has allowed us to become a unit where everyone is a part of the solution. Minimum Requirements Graduation from an accredited Nursing program required. Ability to obtain a valid Vermont State Registered Nursing License by date of employment Health Care Provider BLS certification required within 90 days of hire Desired Qualifications
• Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred
• Prior nursing experience preferred
