Registered Nurse (RN)- Renal Dialysis

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Provides professional nephrology nursing care to patients requiring renal replacement therapies. Assures, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing plan of care. Member of the nursing and multidisciplinary teams providing direct care to patients and families. Provides patient and family education.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education:

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required, BSN preferred.

Minimum Work Experience:

Two years experience in medical/surgical or critical care nursing.

Required Licenses/ Certifications:

Current Vermont Registered Nurse license or eligible for licensure. Nephrology certification required upon employee s eligibility to take exam. BLS certification required; Must be obtained by end of orientation.
