Immediately Job Description The Essex Westford School District is seeking on-call RNs to serve as a substitute school nurse. Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity substitute school nurses to join the EWSD community. This position's operations include but are not limited to, following health and safety protocols, triage, physical assessment, implementing health plans, responding to emergencies, and contacting parents, providers, and school staff as necessary.
Pay:
$310.00 per day EWSD offers selected candidates up to a half-day of orientation before serving as a substitute. EWSD is willing to consider candidates who hold a valid Vermont LPN, CNA, LNA or EMT License and would receive a pay rate of $155.00 per day. Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply: Qualified candidates must hold a valid Vermont RN license. Two years of nursing experience is desired. Pediatric experience preferred. Ability to effectively handle stress and resolve conflicts Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of student incidences and records Willingness and availability to work on short notice to cover unanticipated absences strongly desired (e.g.: the morning of an absence) Our district vision is: "Growing hearts and minds, for a better today and tomorrow: every day, every way, every one."
