Every other weekend Position Summary Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment supporting the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry services on the night shift. The successful candidate will be an experienced and adaptable nurse who can work independently in a critical access hospital environment, provide high-quality patient care, and assume charge nurse responsibilities when required. The RN must also be flexible and willing to float to other departments, including the Emergency Department (ED) and MCH , based on staffing and patient-care needs. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients in the PCU, MedSurg, and Telemetry units. Independently assess patients, develop and implement individualized plans of care, administer medications, and evaluate patient outcomes. Monitor telemetry patients and recognize changes in patient condition requiring timely intervention. Perform charge nurse duties and coordinate patient care and unit activities when assigned. Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, ancillary departments, and other members of the healthcare team. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license; state licensure requirements must be met upon acceptance. Minimum 5 years of nursing experience . Previous experience in Medical-Surgical, PCU, and/or Telemetry nursing.BLS/BCLS
certification required. ACLS certification required. #HC1Pay:
