Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to oversee and provide high-quality nursing care within residential care homes. This role involves managing daily nursing operations, ensuring residents receive compassionate and comprehensive care, and leading a team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will bring strong nursing leadership, long-term care expertise, and effective managerial communication skills to foster a safe and supportive environment for residents. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing management within residential care settings, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices. Oversee daily clinical operations, including resident assessments, care planning, and medication administration. Lead, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate resident services and ensure individualized care plans are effectively implemented. Maintain accurate documentation of resident health records and ensure compliance with legal and organizational policies. Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external healthcare providers to promote transparency and quality care. Monitor resident health status continuously, respond promptly to changes in condition, and implement appropriate interventions. Experience Proven management experience in a nursing or healthcare setting, preferably within long-term or residential care environments. Extensive experience in long-term care nursing, demonstrating knowledge of geriatric or chronic illness management. Strong leadership skills with prior nursing leadership experience in a residential or similar setting. Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with residents' families and healthcare professionals. Valid RN license with current registration and compliance with state or regional licensing requirements. Pay:
$41.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 32.0 per week
