$2410/week Responsibilities Perform rapid patient assessments, including vital signs and physical examinations, to determine acuity levels and prioritize care. Administer medications and treatments such as IV infusions, suturing, and medication administration with precision and adherence to protocols. Manage airway maintenance, ventilator support, and advanced life support techniques during critical situations. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate documentation of patient care activities. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans for diverse patient populations. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging such as CT scans. Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs including trauma, cardiac emergencies, infectious diseases, or behavioral health issues. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Engage in ongoing education on topics such as trauma medicine, acute pain management, infection control, and emergency response procedures. Support discharge planning by educating patients and families about post-emergency care requirements. Requirements Valid RN license with current registration in the applicable state or jurisdiction. Minimum of two years' experience working in emergency room settings or Level I/II trauma centers. Demonstrated proficiency in critical care procedures including airway management, IV insertion, catheterization, and aseptic technique. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; experience with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) is preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology relevant to emergency medicine. Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, neonatal resuscitation procedures (NRP), and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs. Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining professionalism and delivering high-quality patient care. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required. Excellent communication skills combined with a team-oriented approach to healthcare delivery. #
