Are you an experienced RN looking for a 3 day schedule while making a meaningful difference for patients and their families? Harbors Home Health & Hospice is seeking a compassionate and clinically confident weekend & on-call RN to join our team. This unique position combines daytime patient visits with overnight hospice on-call coverage, providing continuity of care and ensuring our patients and families have access to experienced nursing support throughout the weekend.
SCHEDULE
Friday-Sunday Daytime:
Provide scheduled home health/hospice patient visits throughout the service area.
Evenings & Nights:
Provide hospice on-call coverage for urgent patient and family needs. Respond to calls, assess patient needs, provide telephone triage and clinical guidance, and make in-person visits when necessary. Collaborate with the team, providers, pharmacies, facilities, caregivers, and families. Participate in admissions or other visits as needed.
REQUIRED
This position requires the RN to remain available and responsive to hospice needs throughout the weekend. Current WA State RN license Current CPR/BLS certification Valid drivers license with acceptable drivers abstract reliable transportation - or optional company vehicle ability to work independently and respond appropriately to urgent clinical situations strong assessment, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills.
